Instructions in the software state that some users use the Reserve Fund section to account for leaving money to heirs. How does the software treat this vs. Special Bequests in the Estate section? Not sure which to use...
I anticipate inheriting both a Regular IRA and a Roth IRA sometime in the future. I will end up with more than enough to live on, and I want to return the favor to my descendants by ensuring that I don't spend all of my retirement accounts before death, so that I also leave a bequest of IRAs to them.
Hi, I have a question about the estate calculation. In my example I am married and have 350,000 in housing equity and both my wife and I have bequests. Looking at the estate tabs, the full 350,000 housing equity is counted in both of our estates. Is this overstating our individual estates and incorrectly determining what's available for our bequests? (v2.30.2)
