Error message when checking for updates

When we check for updates to the software we get an error message. The screen capture of the message we get is attached.

I'm not sure what that's about. I get an error too, so I'll report that. In the meantime, just look at the version you are running (it's typed across the top of the program screen when you run it from your computer) and if you are not running 2.30.3, please download the file you see in your my downloads area and install.

For what it's worth, I'm running Win 8.1 and checking for updates works just fine. (Maybe it's been fixed since Sunday?)
