Earnings folder year update
First of all, I'm running the current software version. When I go to the "Earnings" folder, it still asks me to enter the amounts in 2013 dollars... like it thinks we are still in 2013. I've run the rollover process, but it doesn't change anything.
What am I doing wrong?
Ron

I can ask Darryl (he's the one that is building the user interface) to see what he can see. I just rolled over and didn't notice this issue.

Hi Dan,
Hi Dan,
My computer clock is for 2015. I see 2014 in earnings, retirement contributions and special withdrawals, pension, SS, etc.

Brian

No, my clock is correct. I'm seeing 2013 and forward in most of the input screens. It's as if I was actually entering the data in 2013.

Brian or Ron,
Brian or Ron,
Do you happen to have a copy of the database that has not yet been rolled over? Darryl said he was going to be doing some testing on that function and it would be nice to have a database that has not been rolled over that has problems. If the year is overridden in the Help/Customize area, perhaps that could make it show up wrong--but that doesn't sound like the issue.
Darryl is going to investigate--he asked if either of you had an old database. I'm not sure if your current database would be helpful to him, but I can ask.

No, unfortunately I don't have the old database. However, I did try and create a new plan and got the message shown on the attached screen shot. Perhaps if I can discover how to change the ESPlanner's date... I can solve this problem.

Okay... I found the "customize" option under the "help" tab and forced the database from 2014 to 2015... and it worked! Finished my plan update and all looks good.

Can you please tell us if this is a bug and if so when it might be fixed? Or does it happen only for a specific environment or browser or whatever ? I am hesitant to do the rollover if I suspect there is an issue. Thanks.

Hi Tom,
Hi Tom,
I don't believe it is a bug. Both Ron and I had manually set the program to "2014". This must have been over a year ago when I did it and forgot.
Anyway..it works fine for me now.
Best,
Brian
