To use the "Paste Earnings History for SSA.gov" button in the SS earnings history area of ESPlanner:

1. Create an account at ssa.gov and find the page that shows your life time earnings history.
2. Select all and copy that page. (CTL-A selects all) and (CTL-C copies).
3. Note that in #2 above you should not select only the table with your row of numbers--instead, select the entire page, the table and everything on the page.
4. Return to ESPLanner and use the "Paste Earnings History for SSA.gov" button to paste in your earnings history.

Some security programs will block a program's access to common Windows functions. Webroot SecureAnywhere is one of them. This can cause issues for ESPlanner when it tries to do rather routine things.

An example is pasting earnings from the ssa.gov site into the Past Covered Earnings tab of Social Security. If this applies to your system, you may see the error "No Earnings data was found on the clipboard" when trying to paste.

Resolution: A change is required in Webroot to allow ESPlanner to access clipboard.
