Larry Kotlikoff

PRESIDENT, Economic Security Planning, Inc.

Laurence J. Kotlikoff is a William Fairfield Warren Professor at Boston University, a Professor of Economics at Boston University, A Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a Fellow of the Econometric Society.

Professor Kotlikoff publishes extensively in newspapers, and magazines on issues of financial reform, personal finance, taxes, Social Security, healthcare, deficits, generational accounting, pensions, saving, and insurance.

Professor Kotlikoff has served as a consultant to the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the Harvard Institute for International Development, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the Swedish Ministry of Finance, the Norwegian Ministry of Finance, the Bank of Italy, the Bank of Japan, the Bank of England, the Government of Russia, the Government of Ukraine, the Government of Bolivia, the Government of Bulgaria, the Treasury of New Zealand, the Office of Management and Budget, the U.S. Department of Education, the U.S. Department of Labor, the Joint Committee on Taxation, The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, The American Council of Life Insurance, Merrill Lynch, Fidelity Investments, AT&T, AON Corp., and other major U.S. corporations.

Darryl Koehler

Software Development (both Web and Download versions)

Darryl manages the online and download software code and user support. In recent years, he has been improving the download program's user interface.

Ed O'Connor-Giles

Ed has led web development teams and projects in a number of industries in both private and public sector starting in 1995. As a consultant his customers have included Lockheed Martin, CarpetOne, Panera, American Family Insurance, EdwardJones, and many others. He has worked with a wide variety of technologies, but these days focuses primarily on Java and PHP development of web applications and services using common frameworks such as Grails, Spring, and Drupal for server-side code and jQuery and AngularJS for front-end development.

Dick Munroe

Chief Technical Officer

Starting his career in 1967 by writing an operating system while flunking out of Oberlin College, Dick Munroe has done pretty much everything to do with software design/architecture and product development. He worked for the University of Missouri doing research and building ground breaking Radiology departmental systems. He went to Digital Equipment Corporation where he filled a number of roles from compiler design to storage management to network architecture, most significantly serving as one of the DECNet and HSC50 architects. He departed DEC to become a distributed system architect at Pr1me Computer. He left Pr1me to found DMConsultants, where he was involved in a wide variety of projects from robotics to storage systems to embedded systems to data base applications to. . . Along the way he founded Acorn Software, an ultimately unsuccessful storage management company and Cottage Software Works where he currently consults with Economic Security Planning, Inc. as the chief architect, chief technology officer and general dog's body."

Mike O'Connor

Mike has worked as a Social Security, Federal and State income tax, and Medicare subject matter expert/analyst/programmer for Economic Security Planning, Inc. since July 2011. He is an avid user of ESPlanner since 2005. Mike culminated a 37 year military research career as the Director of Research and Development for the US Army Corps of Engineers. He subsequently managed a Division of SAIC, Inc. engaged in computational electromagnetics research and radar modeling. He prepared income tax returns for H&R Block for two years. Mike has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois.

Deb Glassman

Deborah works within our team to implement our marketing strategies and initiatives and has produced direct marketing and digital campaigns for both established clients and brands as well as startups. She has implemented projects for American Express, Samsung, Lexus, Gateway Computers, GoTo, Microsoft and Charles Schwab.

Dan Royer

Dan has played a key role in the development of the last several versions of the ESPlanner website. He is one of the website developers and works in the areas of content strategy, design, user experience, user training, and documentation.
