Survivor's Report Result Issue

I am 68 and my wife is 60. I am running the program with the assumption that both of us have not collected or applied for Social Security as of yet and we both planning on claiming on our own SS accounts, I at 70 she at 62. I note, assuming I die at 100 and she dies at 100 that the program correctly forecasts that she will receive my Social Security that I received at 70. But, this is not seem to be the case in the survivors report, it does not even look like she would receive the amount I am eligible for at the age of 68 or 69, which I understand would be the case if I died now. Can you explain to me what the program is doing on the survivors report under the assumptions I just provided.

Thanks,

I'd probably need to see the database, but I believe if you should die before your wife, then she will receive a survivors benefit equal to your Social Security retirement benefit at the time of your death, assuming she’s of full retirement age or older. She would get only the survivors benefit; she would no longer receive the spousal benefit.

Perhaps in your survivor report she's not full retirement age.
