Survivor Report age

Is the "...Age at start of survivor report the end of the year the person reaches the selected age?
Am I correct in assuming that if I want to model my wife's living standard if I die at age 80 I have to enter HER age when I'm 80 in the "Survivor Reports" section of the "Reports Content" page.
Thanks,
James

Yes, that's correct.

So the program assumes you die on the last day of the year for whatever age you select. Contingent planning is a great tool once I figured out how to use it!

Yes, it really helps to make the insurance recommendations more realistic to what would happen in the event someone dies. And you can if that survivor's living standard would actually go up if the other dies.

But, other revising the load on insurance, you can't manipulate the life insurance recommendation itself, right? At least not in ESP?

Right. I talked them into this for the MaxiFi though. You can shut it off at a certain age and/or dial back the cost to -100%.
