How do I enter my deferred income annuity?

It only asks for annual premium instead of the initial lump-sum payment. I would like to see the impact of buying a fixed income deferred annuity for us, but, the ESPlanner doesn't seem to be built to take that into account. Please help.

It actually asks, not for the annual premium, but for the annual payment if you are looking at the Pensions and Annuities input area.

If such an annuity to be purchased in the future with regular assets, then it should be entered in that Pensions/Annuities panel, but the projected payments needed to be made to purchase that annuity should be entered as special expenditures.

You can use special expenditures and receipts to model some of what you have in mind if I understand the question.
